The name Novae originated from a discussion regarding the Latin root of the word for innovation: to bring something new.
Novae Corp. started making trailers in January 2001 with the idea to offer quality products with great service, deal fairly with people, and recognize that suppliers, employees, community and customers are all important to success.
Our purpose is to create opportunities for people to make their lives better and to leave a legacy of positive impact.
Living these values, we have become one of the best professional trailer manufacturers in North America. A very strong and committed team at Novae has rewarded us with 15 years of continuous growth.
Novae Corp. was founded in 1995 with the development of the Proslide® Self Retracting Sulky. This provided a solution for commercial lawn professionals who were tired of walking behind their mowers. There were other sulkies on the market, however they all used wheels. The unique features of the Proslide are that it not only glides over bumps and ruts, providing a smoother ride for the operator while enhancing the desired striping effect on the lawns; it also effortlessly retracts up and out of the way when you step off.
Novae Corp. introduced the Gridiron Custom Tool Storage System, a modular tool storage for power equipment such as backpack blowers, string trimmers, chain saws, etc. The Gridiron allows a user to build the system exactly as they need it and add to it as their business grows.
Novae Corp. acquired the assets of Sure-Trac trailers and in 2001 began producing their first trailers. Through innovative designs, steadfast attention to detail and best business practices, Sure-Trac quickly gained advantage in the utility trailer marketplace.
